Fenway, 6/29/10

We had a 3.5 foot swell forecast for all day today in Misquamicut. I went to Fenway after work with Todd at about 6:00 PM. The parking lot was full, and there were at least 25 guys in the water, some without wet suits. Mitch was out there on his SUP. It was fairly clean, and occasionally some overhead sets came through. I got a couple of nice rides early on, but eventually I got tired, surfing until I could paddle no more. My arms were spent. I had all that I could do to catch a ride in. A great night. Nice weather, warm water, good exercise. It was bit crowded, however. Once or twice I had to pass on rides, because there were just too many people in the way.
